Why We Built This Site
North Carolina gives the public access to many court records, but the right office depends on the record. In Onslow County, the Clerk of Superior Court is the local custodian for Superior Court, District Court, estates, special proceedings, civil files, criminal files, and many copy requests. The Register of Deeds handles marriage certificates and land records. The Sheriff's Office handles jail and law-enforcement records, while state agencies handle driver records, prison records, sex-offender registry data, and federal courts handle federal cases. We pull the relevant court terminology, record routes, payment notes, courthouse locations, and official access paths into one county-focused reference.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any North Carolina court, the Onslow County Clerk of Superior Court, the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, the Register of Deeds, or any state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. For Onslow County court files, that usually means the Clerk of Superior Court or another official Judicial Branch custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and partner results are not certified Onslow County or North Carolina court records.
